Acherpée, the "Island Walker", is nothing more than a silly pirate girl that learned a bit of magic. She landed her boat on Smack Studio with no particular reason, maybe there's rhum to be found!

Acherpée is a lightweight and reactive character that thrives with air combos and juggling the opponent. The combination of melee and varied ranged options gives her the tools for keeping an agressive and relentless playstyle, but be warned: you'll be sent flying out easily as well!

Neutral B : Drink-a-ton
Acherpée will take out her bottle'o'rhum as a weak projectile. If you keep the B button pressed, she'll have a sip!
There's 4 stages of drinking, each stage strengthens the resulting projectile and heals/damages you a random amount.
This move can be canceled into shield, forward dodge or backward dodge. You can also input the opposing direction while throwing the bottle to turn around instantly!

Side B : Mindflip
Acherpée uses her grimoire to cast a Mindflip spell. The little sphere accelerates quickly forward and will only trigger its effect once detonated by releasing the B button. The small burst of magic stuns everyone (including Acherpée) it hits for a decent duration. A good tool for extending combos, as it does no damage or knockback.
While holding B, you can input UP or DOWN to slightly aim the spell as it flies.
The burst of magic also reflects projectiles.
You can't stun anyone for 3s after stunning someone. The magic burst will not do anything.

Up B : Wrecking Baaall!
Acherpée jumps backward to land on a swinging wrecking ball. She swings forward to boost herself up while hitting anyone that comes by, dealing a good amount of damage and knockback.
The wrecking ball sends you at a 45° angle, covering a large horizontal gap, but you can hold the B button to swing a little longer and get sent higher at a 90° angle, with far less horizontal control.

Down B : Imayl Whistle
Acherpée whistles her bird Imayl to appear nearby. He stays stationary, waiting for another command, and will immediately fly straight to you if you whistle again! His high velocity flight counts as a projectile, it is weak but deals a slight amount of hitstun for follow-up attacks!
Imayl will fly away after 15s of waiting, or if the opponent hits him while stationary. He vanishes as soon as he flies into a wall / the ground.

Crawl
Acherpée can crawl on the floor. Just crouch and walk in any direction!

Footstool
If you press jump in the air and an opponent is right beneath you, Acherpée will perform a Footstool, boosting herself off the opponent to jump and recovering her double jump! It also sends the opponent downward a little.

Ronaldo!
Up-Air has 2 frames at the end of the backflip that spike opponents!

One-two-three!
Forward-Air is a 3-hit combo, keeping you and the opponent on an horizontal line in the air. You can move along, to adjust for a follow-up!

L.A.P. support
This character has a LAP tag! Z_Acherpee (without the accent on the é)
There is currently no interaction with other characters on my part, yet.

Acherpée summons her small boat to ride on, and charges forward quickly. The boat is still affected by gravity but gets a slight vertical boost at the start. While the boat's hull is itself a large hitbox, Acherpée also has a small hitbox, allowing her to slash at foes sometimes and send them upward.
You end this dash with an automatic jump, and you get back your double jump as well!
If you want to cancel the dash earlier, press Jump!

Thank you for reading this description, and maybe even playing my character! Acherpée is my first character made for Smack Studio, thus I may have overlooked some stuff about her moveset and all. While I won't pretend to aim for competive levels of balancing, please let me know if you find anything objectively stupid or frustrating!
