[ALPHA] Playable Fanda Battle Test

Hello! You may remember in my last mod - Scrumb's Compendium Filler - that I mentioned wanting to make a fully fleshed out Playable Character Mod, and here it is!


Currently, this mod contains a fully fleshed out battle deck - complete with grafts and a unique character play style!

That's over 120 new battle cards and almost 30 new battle grafts!




Fanda's passive ability is something called VIM.

Instead of taking damage on the turn Fanda is hit- the damage that she would've taken is instead added as PENDING DAMAGE.

Fanda will take this Pending Damage at the end of her next turn. This damage can still be mitigated like normal.

Pending Damage can be removed before it hurts you by using SOOTHE Cards. This is advised because Pending Damage is only reduced by 75% after it hurts you*.

(*This amount is 100% going to be changed with further play testing - feel free to suggest an amount!)

If any of you remember NPC Fanda - she's a Goon (of the Admiralty variety!) - and their passive ability FORMATION let's them apply a group Defend buff to all their allies if they took no damage on the last turn.

Fanda can do this too! But with the caveat that it only works after her 2nd turn - as that's the earliest she can actually TAKE damage, due to Vim.




The main archetypes are:

POISON:
A volatile status condition that damages the target at the start of their turn. At the end of their turn, the stack DOUBLES!
But be careful! If a Poisoned enemy deals health damage to you - ALL stacks of Poison on them are removed!

STYLE:
Gain Style by playing Attack Cards! Lose half your Style by playing Maneuver Card!
Use Style to play a variety of powerful Cards!

IRONCLAD:
Got too much Defense? Realise you have no damage buffs? Don't worry! Ironclad Cards scale off of your Defend stacks.

INITIATIVE
Ever feel Adrenaline lasted TOO long? Would you like a much stronger, more short-live damage boost?
Try Initiative! You can get a lot of it quite easily,but it's only good for a single card!

And that's not even mentioning minor archetypes like using your own debuffs against your opponents and buffing the defensive capabilities of your allies!




Negotiation content will be added after I'm confident Fanda's battle content is balanced. This is why I'm already publishing this alpha build - I'd like some play testing!

I'd REALLY appreciate some feedback and bug reports! The Griftlands community is very small but I know there's at least a few of you who'd like to help!

Eventually, when the Negotiation content is fully fleshed out - I'll bring this mod out of alpha and into a beta where Fanda has her own unique brawl with it's own challenges and quirks.

In the far, far future I'd like to make a 1.0 giving Fanda her own story campaign - in fact, I've already written out a rough draft of how it'll go... ;)
