The Valkyrie Gunship was designed from the ground up to exclusively face enemies in the world of Neter. The Valkyrie is simply much too costly and large to use on any other planet, and would be overkill for any other expedition that ORC is commencing in. The Valkyrie is a helicopter so large that it cannot land on wheels (opting instead to slow descent enough with bottom mounted rocket pods). It was made to even out the playing fields against the humongous threats presented towards the Neter expeditionary fleet. These threats in the form of various ships, aircraft, and land vehicles have proven time and time again to be a cut above the rest in terms of military power; the inhabitants of this planet striking a 9 on the aggressiveness scale. Neter having proven that it is among the most dangerous planets that ORC must further explore into will now receive the proper measures taken to ensure compliance.

The Valkyrie Gunship (or otherwise known as the “Eagle” due to its cockpits being taken directly from the much smaller Hawk VTOL aircraft) is an extremely large heavy anti-fortification/ship aircraft. Meant entirely to be deployed to only the most dangerous worlds, it is rife with safety measures and redundancies to ensure smooth operation in all conditions at all times. The Valkyrie is a testament to the incorruptible and unbreakable will of ORC to continue its operations into ever more dangerous and impassable worlds for the pure sake of science and understanding.
