Description
Set during the fictional re-ignition of the Korean War in 1975, take command of a carrier group to defend a string of buildings little south of the DMZ. Assets include tank platoons, a Korean SAG group with older ships. An American SAG group to clear out the carrier group goal of submarines. TONS of air assets. This will be an all out air war at first, that will then switch to close air support sorties, then making sure the carrier group reaches its destination (Longer Version).
The red version is very difficult, you’re outclassed in every way. You will have to work on disabling AA sites so your bombers that are enroute can destroy the base untouched, while fighting off aircraft like F14s in Mig17s and Mig21s.

This is a very long scenario.


This includes 3 versions of the mission:

A shorter version that still takes a few hours to complete. (4 Star Difficulty)
A longer one that requires you to transit your carrier group from southern korea up towards Seoul. (4 Star Difficulty)
A red side version where you must destroy the buildings and the aircraft carrier (5 Star Difficulty)

Very large mission that takes hours to complete. Tons of enemy air assets and ground units!

Flow of the mission is:

Respond to the attack
Clear the skies of Enemy Air
Destroy all North Korean ground forces pushing on the objective
(long version) Safely transit to the target location while going up against enemy submarine patrols.

In Game Objectives:
(blue)
Defeat the North Korean Ground forces and stop the assault.
Protect your carrier at all costs
Protect a number of buildings just south of the DMZ
[long version]
Transit your carrier to the destination safety

(red)
Destroy the buildings at the target area
Sink the aircraft carrier.



Current Issues:
Triggers are working one day, then not the next. I believe the length of the mission causes the triggers to never kick off. Hopefully I can address this in future game updates/improvements. 1st version of the mission only has about 30 ground units, the longer version has 39. After destroying the units, the trigger never kicks off.

I’ll be honest I worked on this for a week trying to get things to flow perfect and became burnt out on the scenario. Let me know what things need to be adjusted or fix.
