Description
Summary: Expandable Pre-Quantum/Aux Minimalist Battleship. Spawns in at about 590k CPU but really starts to become deadly after adding Aux/Quantum cores. WARNING: SHIP SPAWNS IN OVER CPU WITH NO SUPERIOR EXTENDERS! ADD 2+ ASAP!

- High-G suitable (9G up when empty), bottom entry via hangar which fits 3-4 small SV/HVs
- Spawns in with few turrets and guns but can add TONS!

Background Info:

This craft is designed for constant dodge-roll style combat at a distance of 500-800m from the target, or in a point blank tank-style slugfest. With the vast majority of the armor being front-facing, just as with a Claymore mine, keep the front toward the enemy! While the cockpits are quite far forward, providing excellent visibility, this may expose the pilot to more fire, so this craft has the unusual feature of THREE forward-facing cockpits, allowing you to salvage the situation should you experience a "sudden drop in cabin pressure", or you can install passenger seats and share the ship with faction-mates manning the turrets for better multiplayer immersion or to benefit from player-only alternate fire modes!

The design methodology is to be able to spawn it in pre-quantum/aux but with room for several upgrades. Rather than my usual nacelle-type design, this craft instead features a swept gull-wing design so that it has tons of room for guns and turrets, while still allowing the majority of the thrusters to be positioned far from the center of mass to provide excellent maneuverability, allowing you to always stay facing the enemy. As the critical systems and decoys are located in front of the bridge and near the bottom of the craft, your enemy's turrets targeting turrets and thrusters should lead to the bulk of their weaponry missing you entirely when paired with the dodge-rolling tactic, (other than weapons with an instantaneous projectile speed like modulated lasers, miniguns/cannons, etc). Core is located 2 blocks in front of the engineering section, so that if you get blasted through, your primary systems, CPU extenders, and storage should remain intact for later rescue (note that cored ships tend to despawn after a few hours in multiplayer).


UPGRADE ADVICE: Easily accommodates Quantum and Aux cores. After you add extenders/aux cores, recommend to add turrets and guns first, upgrade thrusters, add Shield Boosters, replace Adv generator with Small Fusion Reactor, add plasma turbines in the crawlspace above the hangar and maybe in hangar. Add turrets to the device groups in the Devices tab, ensure the Control/Signal groups are set to toggle them, see Sentry Gun group as an example). Note that if you Auto Group, it will destroy custom groups so you will have to re-create them.

Don't forget to customize your turret targeting and tune your roll speed down to about 45-65 based on cargo load after upgrading thrusters (more up-thrust requires more roll)
