Kanaris-Class Destroyer

Former US Gearing-class destroyers Stickell, Rupertus, Arnold J. Isbell, and Gurke, these destroyers were transferred through US aid, and the particular four received upgrades in their later service. These destroyers were acquired in the 1970s, and would serve until the early 1990s.

The upgrades in particular, and the final configuration of these destroyers, were:
- Single 40mm Bofors gun fore between the torpedo launchers
- Single OTO-Melara 76mm gun aft
- Two twin RGM-84 Harpoon launchers behind the OTO-Melara turret

These destroyers in particular were the FRAM I Gearings and the ones that received Harpoon installations. The destroyer Themistoklis (Ex-Frank Knox), a FRAM II, is not included, along with the other two FRAM Is that only received the Bofors and OTO-Melara guns (Apostolis, Ex-Charles P. Cecil & Kriezis, Ex-Myles C. Fox)
