GWR 4-4-0 3252 'Duke' Class. 60 were built between 1895 and 1899 for express passenger use in Devon and Cornwall. Most had curved-top frames and early versions had a rounded firebox. Later they saw use in mid Wales, as they were within the weight restrictions of the Cambrian mainline. The last Duke was scrapped in 1951.

GWR 4-4-0 3700 'City' Class. Designed for express passenger trains, 20 were built between 1902 and 1909, with all being withdrawn by May 1931. In 1904 City of Truro achieved a speed of 100mph, although it was not an officially authenticated record, like that achieved by Flying Scotsman in 1934. In light of its famed speed and as the 2000th locomotive built at Swindon, when it was retried in 1931, it was donated to the LNER and displayed in their museum in York. It has been preserved in working order to this day.

GWR 4-4-0 3300 'Bulldog' Class. 141 were built and mainly used for passenger services. A belpaire firebox was used and the majority had tapered boilers and straight-topped frames, although there were numerous variations. The last was withdrawn in 1951.

GWR 4-4-0 3200 'Earl' Class. A rebuild using the chassis and wheels from a Bulldog and the body and cab of a Duke, which to led their nickname of 'Dukedogs'. This combination produced an engine light enough for use on the Cambrian main line in Wales and its wooden bridge at Barmouth. 30 were built, 1 was preserved. They remained in regular use until the 1950s, with the last withdrawn in 1960, making it one of the last class of engine with outside frames.

The GWR 4-4-0's there is two that did survive one of the 3200's and one of the 3700's.

@czeczei.bence - I had originally intended to properly remake them (which is why I didn't do a basic conversion like this earlier). But it takes a lot of time, so I'm unlikely to redo them any time soon.

Is there any chance that one day you will make a version of this which is detailed as your other mods?

@Talyllyn No.1 - Thanks. Yes, the King is my 'current' project. (3D model is mostly done, but needs finishing when I'm active on it again.)

You've made a lot of stellar GWR Models, and so far we've seen an evolution of GWR traction, albeit jumping from period to period. We've got 4-4-0s, the Stars, the Castles, so i'm just wondering, do you have any intentions, or plans, to model and release the conclusion of it all, A GWR King Class?

@FS4472DAN - Thanks. Not from me, but I believe Isambard has been working on that.
