Mai Shiranui

Shiranui Mai has bounced from Fatal Fury into the game for all good boys and girls, Smack Studio! She is a lightweight character, with fast movement and specials, with a lot of tools at her disposal, including projectiles, a launcher, many movement specials, and a great grab. However, she has trouble KOing, and a lot of her attacks don't deal a lot of damage.

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: KACHOUSEN / FAKE MUSASABI NO MAI
Mai throws a fan straight forward. If done in the air, the fan will be thrown at a diagonal angle. While in the air, inputting Special again will cause Mai to dive down.

SIDE SPECIAL: HISSATSU SHINOBI BACHI
Mai skips the cartwheel and just dashes forward while enveloped in flames. It's fairly fast and can be used multiple times in the air, and it can be jump cancelled as well as hit cancelled, making it an extremely versatile movement option.

UP SPECIAL: MUSASABI NO MAI / YUSURA
Mai dives straight up, forward, backward, or downwards, depending on the input. During this jump, she can jump cancel it into a free jump that ignores her total jump limit, or she can input Attack to dive down butt-first towards her opponent, causing a lot of stun on hit on the way down.

DOWN SPECIAL: HISHOU RYUUENJIN / AERIAL MUSASABI NO MAI
While grounded, Mai will do a flip while in flames. Striking the opponent with this move will allow her to jump cancel her attack into a free jump, making this move a fairly unique launcher.
While in the air, Mai will dive down while completely covered in flames. On its first active frames, the strike can spike the opponent. It's a fairly dangerous option, since it cannot be cancelled, but the payoff is fairly strong if it hits the opponent.

ULTRA: KAGEROU NO MAI
Mai puts her hands together and creates a pillar of flames around her that extends above her. Can deal up to 50 damage if all hits connect.
