One day, survivors found an abandoned headquarter. Along with other "Unique Weapons" developed with advanced technologies, they also found a magnum pistol. Nick seemed to like it, so Ellis let him try it, without telling him about a movie he'd ever watched about aliens, special agents, & a tiny pistol. & when Nick tried to shoot, he got thrown backward far enough.
"I hate you Elliiiiiis...!!" Nick shouted when he's thrown backward in the air.
"Hahahahahaha...!! Oooww, man...!!" Ellis laughed so hard while holding his stomach.

& that's the short background story. & yes, this time, magnum pistol is developed with the feature of "Noisy Cricket" mini pistol from MIB movie. & it has a new name, "MIB Magnum", or, "Mob Infected Blaster" Magnum. By using all ammo clip, it can use "MIB Shot" that shoots a laser at the target. However, because of its strong power, the shooter will be pushed back. Here are some animated previews for that (video will be added later):







List of available features on "mib magnum.txt".cfg file:
  1. MIB Magnum User: Which type of survivor can use "MIB Shot" (bots/ players/ all).

  2. MIB Magnum Radius: How far the shockwave radius the "MIB Shot" can deal damage. Default value is 250

  3. MIB Magnum Damage: The damage of "MIB Shot". The damage can be multiplied by how much ammo clip left. Examples: 1 ammo clip= 1x damage, 4 ammo clip= 4x damage.

  4. MIB Magnum Knockback Power: How strong the knockback power is. Default value is 50 (what I used on the video & animated images), min value is 20. The shooter & targets (special infected, tank & other survivors) will be affected. The knockback power is multiplied by how much ammo clip used. Examples: 1 ammo clip on 50 "Knockback Power"= getting knocked back with 50 power. 5 ammo clip= 250 power (on the previews, I used 10 ammo clip instead. Yeah, the upper limit is 10)

  5. MIB Magnum Gore Mode: When enabled, common infected hit by the "MIB Shot" will be dismembered/ destroyed.

Mechanisms of "MIB Shot":
  • Press AIM/ Scope to use AIM/ Scope on magnum. "MIB Shot" is active during aiming.

  • "MIB Shot" shoots a laser beam & explodes when reaching a target.

  • "MIB Shot" uses all ammo clip, or 10 ammo clip if you modify magnum pistol to have more than 10 ammo clip.

  • "MIB Shot" has 100% accuracy as long as the target is in the center of crosshair.

  • "MIB Shot" will stumble common infected & witch when the damage is set to low enough to make them survive the shot.

  • The shooter will be knocked back together with the target (either special infected, tank or other survivor) hit with "MIB Shot". How far they're knocked back depends on how much ammo clip they use & how much value on "MIB Magnum Knockback Power" is set. Value no 50 or below should be safe for knockback power.

  • Special for tank & witch, they take doubled damage if they're shot right in the center of crosshair.

  • Nick will trigger some voicelines when he uses "MIB Shot".

  • Tips to shoot safely: Shoot in the corner, & don't shoot the floor close to you.


Shoot carefully with this magnum, so you won't repeat what Nick did before.

@Sieg Rem , check "ems" folder & find "mib magnum" folder. The cfg file is in that folder. You just need to open the cfg file with notepad, change the value, save the notepad & then reload your gun to apply the changes.

@Sieg Rem , the default is 50, I think, but the value can be changed from the cfg file & the minimum value is 20

@kurochama is the default 20? So you just show the animated knockback power 50(it can be set)

@Sieg Rem , if you set the "Knockback Power" to 20 (minimum value), the knockback will be only few steps backward. The knockback power on the animated previews was 50.

@Drink , try to set "MorePrimaryAmmoClip" to 2. The secondary can be enabled only when "MorePrimaryAmmoClip" is set to 2.

@Drink , it's one of features on my "Merciless Bots" mod. there's "more primary ammo clip.txt" cfg file that allows more ammo clip loaded on primary guns, with a bonus on secondary.
