I would normally only set this mod as compatible with only 1.5, but the code is slightly weird. Just don't use it with the original version.

Yes. To my knowledge, the mod simply adds a new material type that is treated like any other rocky material (stone bricks, jade) and the game automatically lets you make a lot of things out of it, even doors and weapons. And the concrete floor/paved floors will require this mod's concrete to be built as well.
