(They become stronger and offer better rewards as equipment.)

-Please note that as their stats increase, the Charisma required to recruit them will also rise.
-Even if you disable the mod later, adventurers’ levels will not revert.

question: would be possible to also make it so they also get stronger over time? (maybe get some xp with each day passing that scales with fame or something)

Artifacts do not drop additionally.
I may have misinterpreted the way I wrote it, but the item drop logic remains vanilla.
Higher adventurer level = better quality of adventurer's equipment = better drops.
