T26E3 Pershing

The T26E3 Pershing is an American heavy tank, made to be the replacement for the M4 Sherman. It was made to be able to go hand to hand with the German Panther and Tiger I, but the Tiger II still outclassed it in armor and firepower. The T26E3 was named after General of the Armies John J. Pershing, who led the American Expeditionary Force in Europe in World War I. This tank is specifically modeled after 'Eagle 7', which is famous for taking out a Panther next to the Cologne Cathedral in Germany.
