Expanded Resources

Description
1.16.5 COMPATIBLE VERSION NOW AVAILABLE!!!
Now in German Localisation by Gregory Eisenhorn!!

‘Expanded Resources’ is a mod that adds and modifies the resources of the base game, while keeping a vanilla essence

The idea is to give more importance to minor powers and colonial territories, while keeping production true to reality.

The source used for these estimates is: ‘Statistical Yearbook, 1948’. While the locations of the resources have been collated using different geographical atlases and mining websites.

The major powers still account for similar amounts of resources for the most part. The big beneficiaries are countries such as Spain, Canada, Brazil, Australia, the British Raj, among others.

I am aware that there are countries that have an overrepresentation of resources if we take my sources, but the mod also aims to favour an improved gameplay and more viability for other countries. I highly recommend playing games with the decolonisation rules enabled.

The mod also adds resource factories for steel and aluminium, as well as technologies to improve the production and construction of these factories.

Below is the file where a comparison of resources is made:

-Reworked decisions used to discover new resources. This includes new decisions and the use of these decisions for players who do not have the DLCs.

Upcoming projects:
-My ows country mods for Egypt and Spain (more on the way).

Disclaimer:
As the mod modifies states, it is largely incompatible with other mods that change states and modify the industry technology tree.
Bugs and crashes when combined with other mods are contemplated.

Any news on the techless version? I'd like that one to play with ETT60 or UNTH, otherwise I can only have this one in my load order.

@FDK By popular request I will make a version without the technologies and adjusting it for raw resources.

Would be great to have a version without the new buildings/tech (just the resources), for compatibility.
Did it myself and so far had no issues when using many mods, some that change tech and buildings.

For anyone wondering delete all files minus the history folder. Will have to do again when mod updates or have it as a separate local mod.

Great mod tho :) looking forward to Egypt and Spain mods.

@NandusMasta I don't get what did you need/want

I second the need of a patch for ETT60.
CoCo 23 Mar @ 3:29pm
is it possible to make an alternate mod without the research tree changes?

@ENDOMACHINE Are you playing with other mods? My mod doesn't modify any localisation base files, so you shouldn't have that problem. When I open debug I don't get any localisation errors either. If possible, send me a picture of the error to see if it's my fault. Thanks.

a ETT60 compatibility patch for this would be phenomenal!

@VortexPlay Thank you for your work
