d1_trainstation.Occupants moment

===== Map Introduction and Origin =====

At the start of Half-Life 2, Gordon Freeman passes through an apartment block to get to Isaac Kleiner's laboratory nearby. As he passes through, no non-diagetic music plays--just the sounds of the apartment's occupants moving around, coughing, clinking dishes and flushing toilets. But if there are no occupants around, and yet the sounds still persist… what's making them…?

===== Map Details Summary =====

So, over the past three years, it's become apparent that the second-most scary thing I've done on this workshop is insert the HL2 apartments soundscape (the ambient background noise that plays in most maps) without any NPCs present to serve as the lore-wise source of the noises featured. Apparently at least three of y'all find the concept terrifying, so, here's a special map juuuuust for you folks.

There are no shadow people. There are no eldritch creatures. There are no hidden secrets, there are no invisible teleporters. There is only d1_trainstation.Occupants.

===== What is a Soundscape? =====
In Source Engine games, a Soundscape is ambient background noise played within levels to grant them atmosphere--passive noises from the area that continuously play, independently of music, in the background. The electrical hum of machinery, the quiet rumble of stone corridors, the rattling fences and distant zombie cries of Ravenholm. Soundscapes take many forms!

Map features included:
- A vast black (yet surprisingly well-lit) void
- Ground noding, for the heck of it (No navmesh though)
- Cubemaps
- d1_trainstation.Occupants

One of two quick joke addons to confirm that yes, I am still alive and working on stuff. Hoping I can get something else more serious out before the year ends…!

If you say "There is nothing wrong." I will dissect the ever living snot out of your map to find secrets and hidden lore and all that good stuff.

Seeing that there truly is nothing here, I'll move on to the next map. But be warned: If someone purposefully lowers the frame-rate, they might get confused by the sudden something that is only there to make sure the lighting is good.
