Minor Cut wounds will still show up as a bleed icon, and say 'Laceration' in the log, but they are like a 'Tier 1' Cut Damage wound.
Contusions are like a 'Tier 1' Blunt damage wound, so it's still, I guess...under the umbrella of 'Fractures'.
But no, totally part of Vanilla QM
You can also check the game's log file and see if there are any exceptions. Ignore the "can't find key" issues as that is normal for the game.
The log can be found at %UserProfile%\AppData\LocalLow\Magnum Scriptum Ltd\Quasimorph\Player.log
I verified that this mod is not doing anything tricky and should be quite compatible. Of course with mods, there is always a chance of unexpected side effects.
You can reach me on the game's Official discord server if you want to discuss this further. The Discord link is on the store page on the right hand side near the bottom.

In terms of UI design, I think the red color that vanilla wounds are make sense for damaging wounds. Would it be possible to change non-damaging wounds color to a color that is less serious? Black background would fit the color scheme (and be very legible).
