Description
This simple mod ends your campaign with a loss immediately after you fight and lose a battle with Arbaal the Undefeated. Withdrawing from battle does not end your campaign, and losing a battle with a different lord in Arbaal's faction does not end your campaign.

Khorne does not suffer weakness in his Destroyer!

This mod will be compatible with everything forever and will never need to be updated.

@porkenstein it only being a visual change and not affecting the stats would be enough

If you're taking suggestions, I always thought it would be cool if he lost his legendary weapon in addition to all of the other effects. Or maybe he dies in the game but you can try to continue with a faction with no LL

Any chance you could add a version where if Arbaal loses, he's transformed into a chaos spawn forever lol

I would also suggest allowing Arbaal to be prevented from retreating in battles to be more lore-friendly.

I recognize that I'm not representative of the average player but I found the campaign completely trivial on Legendary. You can get to fulls stacks of Chosen by turn 25 and short victory by turn 30 and probably even earlier than that. The stat-stacking on units is insane. It basically turns every elite Khorne unit into the power level of Archaon's maxed out Aspiring Champs.]

I do hope you're able to have more fun with it than I had. Arbaal's quest battle was pretty fun at least since I played it pretty early.

@Pious Skeleton, Yeah I've been tinkering with a "de-creeped" mod series that brings down the magnitude of overtuned gameplay mechanics to keep things challenging, but it's on the backburner. Personally I think that CA should focus on fixing the campaign AI bugs - I should be able to still have fun with their overtuned Khorne mechanics if I just select a high enough difficulty. but currently the AI still is too avoidant and buggy.

Now we just need some rebalancing mods to undo the Khorne rework so that can make it so a battle might actually be able to be lost

Ignore my saltiness at CA, this is a a really great mod and pretty much exactly what I hoped his dilemma mechanic would be.
