LIM LF-20A Nightingale | Next-Generation Stealth Fighter

The LF-20A Nightingale is the premier stealth fighter front-lining a new generation of Lagrange fighter/bombers. No autonomous flight and fighting capabilities, but stealthy with internally-mounted missile bays so your mission is always a secret until it's too late to prepare.

Equipped by default with 2 SIM-8D's and 2 deployable gatling guns, the Nightingale is nothing to scoff at despite the lighter armament compared to previous LIM fighters, this hallmarks a change to the lighter lineups towards missile-towing interception rather than dogfighting. Despite this, the LF-20A is incredibly maneuverable and easy to maintain.

To reload the missiles, instead of fiddling with a printing station and using ion tugs to move missiles into position, this fighter has projectors internally which can be toggled via the cockpit's second panel - which is used for maintenance - to have them built within the bays themselves when flying near a station's welders.

The only setup required by the pilot after rearming is to go to the two timer blocks named "2 - Missile" (MS for Starboard, MP for Port) and input the correct "launch" timer, helpfully located in the first slot for Port and second slot for Starboard in case you forget which you're interacting with. Then simply turn on the missile bay lock timers and you're set to go. The bays autonomously open, launch, close, and lock so that you do not accidentally open or close the doors during any dangerous activities.

The guns have a manual lock so that you do not accidentally shoot your wing off from the inside, so very little pilot input is required on this platform.

The damage analysis panel on the right also displays which missile is spent so you do not need to manually keep track
