Description
Let's doctors read novels to patients so they both get the book's joy bonus.


Q&A:

Will this work with books other then novels?
No, I could possibly add an option if there is enough requests and I can find time.

Can I read to sick children in Biotech?
No, go grab my other mod Children's Books and read them a nice bed time story.


Mod Support and Compatibility:

Combat Extended - No patches needed, no issues reported, passed basic testing

Nursing worktype - Due to multiple mods adding Nursing I had to set priority if multiple is used for some reason, highest mod on the list will be used over the others.

This is such a good idea! Seconding wanting it added to the nursing job instead when it's present, if you find the time :)

I love this mod! It would be extra cool if the patient's opinion of the doctor improved with being read to.

@Aurelius X Yeah, I can see how that would be annoying. I added a check so downed pawns auto lay down.

I really like this mod. Such small kind things are unusual on the rim. But I have one bug report. Incapacitated (immobile) pawns are downed from hospital bed after being read to and need to be rescued (put back to bed) by another pawn. Is this something which can be changed?

@:3 No, this only works for novels for now, I may add an option to open that up in the future if I have some time to look into it.
