The following text describes what is a woman:

A woman, biologically classified as an adult human of the female sex, is primarily characterized by a unique combination of chromosomal, anatomical, and physiological traits that collectively differentiate her from her male counterparts. At the chromosomal level, women typically possess an XX chromosomal pairing, which influences the development and functioning of their reproductive and secondary sexual characteristics.

A woman’s skeletal structure has several notable differences compared to a man’s. The female pelvis is wider and more rounded, with a larger subpubic angle to facilitate childbirth, while the male pelvis is narrower and taller. The sacrum in women is shorter and less curved, contributing to a broader pelvic inlet. Women generally have a lighter and less dense skeleton overall, which is reflected in thinner bones and smaller joint surfaces. The skull of a woman is typically smaller and rounder, with a less pronounced brow ridge and smaller mastoid processes. Additionally, women tend to have shorter limb bones relative to their torso length, giving them proportionally different body ratios. Rib cages in women are also smaller and less conical in shape compared to men.

The muscular system in women differs due to lower overall muscle mass, which is distributed differently across the body, with a tendency for higher fat storage, especially around the hips, thighs, and buttocks. These anatomical distinctions are influenced by hormonal differences, primarily the action of estrogen in women, which impacts both skeletal and muscular development.
