You can force Steam to update the mod by unsubscribing and resubscribing to the mod and/or validating your Victoria 3 installation. The latest version of GotB is 3.2.4.
I'm looking into alternate pathways for the Greek culture content for the casuals.
The "crash" on exit is from using custom sfx. Paradox is aware, but I don't know if we'll get a solution.

And alternate "fail condition" for the Tanzimat is coming soon in the form of content for the Reign of Abdulaziz and the Young Ottomans.

I removed the uprisings scripting for now and had the mod use the vanilla secession mechanics.

You have to let Political Instability reach 100%, and then chose to eject Otto.
