Armor Expansion Add-On - 2.0 Update

Description
Adds 25+ armors into the game to NPCs and for the player to obtain. No original armors are replaced, all armors added by the mod are there on top of already existing ones. Can be used with almost all other big Gothic 2 mods and can be safely installed and uninstalled at any point without breaking the players save file.

Available in Czech, English, Polish and German, the mod automatically detects the language of your game.
Requires Ninja.

NEW FEATURES IN UPDATE 2.0
- All armors have new or edited textures that are closer to their vanilla design. Screenshots updated accordingly.
- All reported issues were resolved.
- Incompatibility with Atariar edition mod was fixed.
- Several models were touched up.
- Several new armors were added.
- Some dialogues and ways to obtain armors were changed, namely the Paladin crossbowman armor and mercenary hunter armors.
- Added ability for the helmet on the original Paladin armor to be modified as well.
- 3 notable characters recieved distinct armor.
- Npcs now have gear according to their status. (Ex: All crossbowmen have better crossbows than regular units but only one handed weapons, NPCs with heavy paladin armor have ore swords)
- Original mercenary armors and the Raven guard armor recieved nicer looking inventory models.
- Added full German localization, unfortunately it was done with the help of a machine translator unlike the other languages. If anybody wishes to help with translating for any language, please reach out to me.
- Rebalanced all armor stats.

Some of these armors are given to the player for completing a certain quest or progressing through the story, some can be bought or requested to be forged and one can be forged by the hero himself. The player also can trade their normal faction armors for armors have weaker protection but give bonus to crossbow and bow skill, making a ranged playthrough more varied. Helmets can be modified or taken off at the anvil for armors that have them. If your game is in a language that isnt automatically detected it will default to english. I tried to make everything understandable to the player, but if you have any problems with getting a certain armor feel free to ask. If you like this mod let me know! I have more mods like this planned that add different armors and also some weapons :).

If you come across any bug or issue dont hesitate to report it!.

COMPATIBILITY:
Should be compatible with most mods that change the basic Gothic 2 (ex. Minimod, Atariar, Alternative, Atariar.), and is compatible with all retexture mods.
Theoretically compatible with Lhiver editions, but due to them replacing steel billets with ingots the crafting paths are inaccesible, i will resolve this issue shortly. An update to completely resolve balance and crafting issues should come out by the end of next week.
It is definitely not compatible with mods that completely change the story (Archolos, Legend of Ahssun, etc.), and definitely not compatible with Returning 2.0 or any of its versions. Also not compatible with Nostalgic edition or any of its versions.

Credits:
Damianut - Advice and help with coding, i dont think the mod would be possible without him.
Mud-freak - helping with compatibility and implementing localization.
Amelia - Moral support, consultation of ideas and localization.
Fgem/vladmihail - Inspiration.
Piranha Bytes - for Gothic :D

Assets Used:
Rolland (Modderdatabank) - Paladin armor models

@Bamioum I looked at the issue and confirmed it. An update is being worked on to fix this issue, and also better balance stats for LHiver and other mods when they are detected.

The upgrades from Bennet and at least the stewark armor seems to be incompatible with the Artstuff version of l'hiver(based on 1.3 i think) they ask for Steel Billets which have been replaced with Steel ingots in at least this version so you never get the option to upgrade after the first conversation with bennet about it.

@Romanez78 Ok thx i will try

@Riross49 Sure, it will be a little complicated though if you are a beginner. You need to open the vdf file with the "VDFS tool" program, navigate to NINJA\ARMOREXPANSION\CONTENT\LOCALIZATION and extract the "GUESSLOCALIZATION.D" file somewhere on your computer. Inside the file change "return Patch_AE_Lang_FR;" to "return Patch_AE_Lang_EN;" and import it back to NINJA\ARMOREXPANSION\CONTENT\LOCALIZATION (the folder which you extracted it from). Let it overwrite the original file and dont forget to save the changes in VDFS tool (Ctrl + S). I tested this method on a french version of the game myself and it works so if you follow my steps correctly it will work for you as well. I will also change the default language to english rather than czech in the upcoming update so thank you for bringing this to my attention.

I read the comments on the Ninja steam page, unfortunately this is something out of my control. I am not involved in the development of Ninja in any way, outside of one oversight that i reported as feedback. I only made this mod and mud-freak helped with some code in it. I guess you should follow advice from mud-freak and follow the page for news about the situation. If you want to try playing with an older version of Ninja from Github then my mod should work with any version newer than 2.9.1

The problem is quite new. For more details you should read the comments on Nnja mod site on steam. Long story short a lot of antiviral software as well as windows defender reported Ninja mod as trojan malware. Now the Ninja mod can't even be download. Adding the mod as an exception in antivirus did not help either.

I have never heard about Ninja being flagged as a virus or trojan from anybody yet. I have used Ninja for years now, if it were malicious I wouldn't make a mod utilizing it, not to mention I spoke to the creator of it. Are you sure you downloaded it from an official source? (Link: https://github.com/szapp/Ninja /The steam link in the requirements section is correct as well). If the problem persist can you describe which antiviral software considers it malicious?

Great mod but its require Ninja which is detect now as a Trojan virus by a lot of antiviral software.
