The HT-26 was one of the results of "Project Sundowner", a American Tank Research program which is meant to combat the ever growing threat of Japanese Heavy tanks and Anti Tank guns. Its development was ended in late 1944 and it first saw combat in 1945. It helped significantly in the late stage of the Alaskan Campaign by destroying bunkers and field guns.
Its armour was incredibly good for the time, though not invincible. It also received a very powerful 94mm Anti Tank gun. Its combat service extended through the mid to late 40s in the island hopping campaign, attack on occupied Philippines, securing of Australian Mainland, Attack on Japanese Mainland, Attack on Japanese Holdings on Asian Mainland and the early fight against the Russian Red Army
A couple Douglas heavy tanks did see service under the chinese rebellion against the Russian occupational forces and served quite well until their ran out of ressources to keep them running. They then were used as towed roadblocks since the gun and armour was still useful.

Overall it was an outstanding tank that served a long time under a lot of flags, with great crew survivability.

1. Enable Battery and Cooling (in that order)
   
2. Enable Ignition Key
   
3. Press and Hold down Starter button
   
4. While holding down the starter button quickly press the Fuel Injection a lot of times fast until the blue bar (Fuel momentum) fills up
   
5. It should then idle and you can shift into gear to start moving
   
6. To shift into gear depress the clutch and press Up/Down to shift into desired gear (Fully manual gearbox, 5 forward, 2 reverse gears)

- Very good survivability and good frontal armour with uparmoured sides
- Gun Depression over Engine Deck is heavily limited, be careful with it!
