Psionics Ex Machina Plugin: Gem Implanted Armours

Description
About This Mod
This is a plugin that will allow Psionic Ex Machina GEMs to be attached to armor.

By default, the only armor supported is [WotC] EU Psi Armor.

How to Add More Armors
To allow GEMs to be attached to more armors, you will need to do three things:
  • Add attachment slots to the armor: You can either add the armor to XComGame.ini or you can subscribe to [WOTC] Armour Upgrades which adds the configs for you. NOTE: Adding GEMs that give bonus slots may do weird things in armor with less than 2 slots. You have been warned.
  • Add the armor template to the valid list of armors for GEMS: Add the armor template name to XComPsionicsExMachina.ini
  • Add the armor template to the list of items to show the inventory icon for: Add the armor template name to XComPsionicsExMachina_Abilities.ini
Add the armor template to those three locations and it can now use GEMs too!

Known Quirks
Animations can be a bit... wonky. I am exploring ways to make them not wonky, but for now I am releasing this as-is.
The abilities will be granted and are usable, just it may look like you are shooting purple beams from your gun.

Thanks
  • RustyDios for updating PExM to support this plugin (and the snazzy preview image).
  • The Psionics Ex Machina team in general for the great mod.

Yes, it should work regardless of new/existing games.

Doesn't appear to be allowing me to slot gems into the Psi Armor, it should work retroactively right?

Just to note, if you're using certain weapons, firing GEM-powered, purple laser beams from your weapon might actually be preferable >.>

Great work between you and Rusty. It's nice to come back from a medical holiday to find people working dilligently on intergration projects!

Remember the golden rule of 1200 though peeps! Anymore mods than that, you can kiss save file stability goodbye xD
