+ Fixes / Beta-Retail Hybrid HEV Arms

Description
This add-on adds beta-ish armour plates to the gloves and crossbeams to the forearms of the retail HEV. These were included in an early version of the 2001-2002 "red" design, and some were left in the world model of the suit in the release game if look closely.

Arms are only semi-compatible with simple re-texturing add-ons, as the handplate and crossbeam is a separate texture and won't be styled differently unless support is made for it.

Also included is a replacement for the Stun Baton and SLAM, just in case, and some fixes to the vanilla view models.

Animations, models won't work with it, unless they are adapted separately. But re-textures for vanilla weaponry should not cause any problems.

This collection of weapon fixes on the default hands would be greatly appreciated, namely the new AR2 reload

Can someone bring these arms to the Half Life 2 update?

There's one a port of it for Dark Interval that seems to have the arms separate from the weapon, so if you delete the model and materials for the arms in that port, you get the vanilla arms with the metal crossbeam. The hand-plate, however, remains. I was basically wanting to have your edited hand-plates on this https://www.moddb.com/mods/dark-interval/addons/hl2-beta-edition-weapons-reborn-for-dark-interval

Judging by the screenshots, these has edited standard hands. In this case, someone can simply replace the hand texture, and edit the plate and rod to match the shade. But if you're talking about replacing it with this particular hands model, it would be labor intensive for me because of binding and fitting the meshes to the skeleton of each of the weapon animations, unless the animations have bones similar to c_arms. My guess is no.

Do you think you could make a version compatible with this? https://gamebanana.com/mods/479542

Nah, because Valve never figured out to separate the hand model from the weapon model, only retextures will work with weapons.
