fancy footsteps for gmod

sounds taken from https://github.com/Sollace/Presence-Footsteps


Features that are cool
  • fully predicted
  • material type based off offset per-foot, like dsteps
  • proper sounds for different surface properties (instead of only using MAT enums)
  • step sound on landing
  • respects other PlayerFootstep hooks, meaning no compatibility issues
  • preserves ladder sounds

sv_csteps_enable
Enables custom footsteps.
sv_csteps_silencefootsteps
Enables footsteps being silenced when +walk is held.

It doesnt mention tacmove in the incompatible section is it compatible with it (because dsteps is broken with tacmove i think)

i could return true but thatll fuck over fumble footsteps or anything similar, hook system in gmod sucks

Does not work properly with Better Movement. Especially the setting that makes player foosteps sync to the animation of the playermodel. It causes one sound for each surface to play instead of randomly choosing the sound from the table.

programmers, engineers, modelers, artists, etc. r not ur babysitters here to teach u how to walk. you have professors teachers and courses for that

most of us want ppl to put minimum effort into searching things up to waste less time before posting. your question was also answered a couple times.
