Last week, the Soviet navy launched operation Hamilcar. We managed to sink their transports, averting their naval invasion of Malta. After restocking and repairing our task force, we are ready to strike back. Our first and most urgent mission is to disable the refineries at Marsa el Brega and Benghazi. The product of these two refineries is being sent to the Warsaw Pact member states, and has become vital to their war effort. Lybian oil refineries are built to other specs from the USSR and will take months to repair. Our mission does not include sinking the Soviet tankers on the coast outside of Benghazi. The Soviet Navy is stretched thin and relies on Lybia for coastal patrols. Intel also suggests that Lybian submarines have left their bases. As of yet we don't know what their mission is. The US Air Force have returned the airfield on Malta to the Royal Air Force and we are now limited to what our own carriers can deploy. For now, our main obstacles are the Lybian and Soviet aircraft being deployed to defend their refineries, as well as the SAM sites we suspect have been deployed. It's monday, i don't expect miracles. Destroying two facilities of each refinery will be enough for mission completion.
