Useful "Side-Dish" Mods (Especially for Bots)

Description
A: "As there are already some mods about survivor's perks, how about making mods about item buffs...?"
B: "Ah hell... Here we go again, another crazy idea..."
A: "Hehehehehehehe... It's going to be fun..."

& so, the crazy idea won again, & this mod was made... :D . As it's probably hard to see the effects via static images, I'll upload a video later. While waiting for the video, this is the animated preview:


So, about this mod, this allows survivors to get some buffs simply by carrying certain items. Each item has its own buffs & each buff can be stacked as long as survivors keep them in inventory without using them. Here are the items along with the effects:

First aid kit
Health regen + 1 every 5 seconds
Pills
Health buffer regen + 4 every 6 seconds
Adrenaline
Health buffer + 3 every 6 seconds
Adrenaline speed boost for 3 seconds every 6 seconds
Incendiary ammo pack
Fire ammo + 1 every 2 seconds if there's primary gun.
Explosive ammo pack
Explosive ammo + 1 every 2 seconds if there's primary gun.
New Gascan
Chainsaw ammo + 1 every 2 seconds if there's chainsaw.
Gnome
Health regen + 1 (AOE melee range) every 1 second
Health buffer regen every 1 second
Always in adrenaline speed boost when having gnome
Random ammo refill between 1-20 ammo every 1 second
Laser upgrade on primary when there's primary
Laser upgrade on secondary (crazy...)
"Black & White" status removal when health is above 50
Revives incapped survivor near the gnome owner
Rescues survivor hanging on ledge near the gnome owner
Revives dead survivor near the gnome owner
Stumbles common infected nearby

For now, there's no cfg file, so, this will automatically active after subscribing.

Q: "What about other items...? Like, cola?"
A: "I don't know what to do with cola... Probably, the cola carrier will attract infected instead? Hehehehehe... But probably I'll add gascan later, for chainsaw. So, as long as you carry a gascan, chainsaw can have fuel regen."


So, with this mod, the longer you survive & hold your items, the better survival chance you'll have on higher difficulties.


NOTES:
  • A video preview will be added later.
  • Item buffs from different items can be stacked. It means that if you have both medkit & pills, you'll get health & health buffer regen. If you have incendiary ammo pack & pills, you'll get incendiary ammo regen + health buffer regen. Etc.
  • The buffs stay active as long as items are not used. It means that if you have a mod that changes gnome slot to other slot that can be stored, you'll get gnome's buffs even without holding it in hands (literally you'll become closer to a walking paramedic). It also works the same on other items. For example, if you have a mod that put pills & adrenaline to different slots to each other, you'll get doubled health buffer regen from pills & adrenaline, & also adrenaline speed boost for 3 seconds every 6 seconds.

uh right...i forgot to say that defib will be consumed when near death, but nvm it is like self-use on defib when dead anyway.

@King4Loli , defib would become too powerful if it can revive/ avoid death simply by carrying it. Gnome is an exception as he's rare to be found & also the main hero here :steamhappy:
You can try "Laser Defib" on my workshop, if you want alternative features for defib to attack zombies.

Ah you forgot about the defibrillator were it avoid death.

@wynter , afaik only gnome buffs are OP. Other items are still balanced enough, like, people can still die on Expert even after stacking medkit + pills / medkit + adrenaline buffs.

@mackkings , they still heal as usual when they're low on health. This mod only gives buffs on items, & never modifies anything about bots

@Damein , normally gnome only spawns in Dark Carnival. But some mods may allow gnome to spawn in any campaigns.
