A deadly virus outbreak arose, causing stuff to turn a bright red with meat overgrowing. The only way was to to confine humanity to not see the deadly outside world. You, the player. Headed to work one morning like usual. On the way you see many different rebel camps along the streets, eventually getting to your office. There you meet your pal Patrick I think. he says to meet up above, you do then you take a train down to another part of town. You get in a jeep and drive around, reaching the factory you head inside. You search around and eventually make it to a window, seeing pipes outside you climb in and reach the outside, by this time it is already afternoon or sunset. You search the outside and go on your way. eventually ending up in the canals of a European town. There you meet Adelbert. A German man who found his way out 68 years ago, as stated by a rebel in part 2. "No one has escaped in 68 years!" Anyway. He says to meet him at his base, you then walk around and destroy some antlions in the wasteland. Eventually you reach his base, and launch a massive rocket. Then, you don't see this but Adelbert then tells you to go explore, apparently, the rocket hit a major important part of the line, causing the virus to once again outbreak and come alive. It is spreading VERY quickly. So you rush out into a jeep and get on your way back, what for? You don't want to die out in the wasteland, at least its normal in the city right..? You reach your apartment, it looks the same but no one is there. You walk and walk. You see yourself, at the end of the hallway, in front of your door, staring down. Its you. You caused this. You are the reason for humanity's downfall, they have got everybody else. You are the last one left to get. Thank you.
