Description
The Adtranz SEPTA M-4 is a metro vehicle developed by Adtranz (later Bombardier, now Alstom) to run on the Market-Frankford line (soon to be renamed L1). The cars are bottom-contact 3rd rail; and run on pennsylvania trolley guage (1581mm) tracks. They run in sets of married pairs and are slated to be retired starting in 2029.
