Description
One of several weapons to be included in my feature spears mod

Adds a yari type polearm to the game
Primarily utilised by UC samurais, research blueprint and the weapon itself can be obtained from UC and ronin merchants, with higher probability in Catun. Also can be seen used by UC samurai soldiers.

Where to obtain:
  • UC big city wepon shops (weapon and research)
  • Catun weapon shop (weapon and research with a higher chance)
  • Ronin wepon shop (weapon only)

Weapon Stats:
  • Weapon type: Polearm
  • Damage against animals: +25%
  • Damage Against Robots: -40%
  • Cut damage: -50%
  • Pierce damage: +70%
  • Blunt Damage: -85%
  • Indoors attack penalty: -10
  • Defense bonus: +2
  • Attack bonus: +8
  • Bleed bonus: +25%

Yeah, animations were a part of a test build, must've accidentally uploaded the mod before removing them
I just uploaded a patch removing animation files, should fix the skeleton issue, combat animations were disabled anyways, and are to be provided as a standalone mod once complete

@Rachel L yes this happens because this mod adds animations and did not remove the vanilla animations from the skeleton, thus replacing the carry me pose.

Who would have guessed, but i found that this mod seems to be causing a problem with CBT Many Animations patches (for their Horse and Bull mods). Having this mod after CBT Many animations patches makes it so Shek and Scorchlander have broken riding animations

Tanto or any other knife-type weapon is hard to implement in kenshi, as all the weapon classes (i.e. katana/polearm/etc) are hardcoded into the game, and FCS(Kenshi moddig tool) does not allow for custom weapon classes or assigning separate animations to a specific weapon

Thus, no custom animations could be assigned that wouldn't interfere with the already existing ones, so that the character would use the knife properly(utilising stabs and slashes) and not like a baseballbat

There are workarounds like this mod by Kitya, which utilises the belt slot:

But, ultimately, to my knowledge, there's no propper way to include a knife-type weapon into the game without it behaving junky, unfortunately

That's why there's barely any knife mods for this game

Can you make Tanto, a Japanese dagger/short katana, bad at outdoor but good at indoor, got a reputation for a tool for seppuku aka Samurai suicide, spawn in Shek Kingdom shop due to their Kamikaze culture, use this knife as a tool to cut their horn, killing their honor for not die
