INHUMANITY presents us with a post-apocalyptic world where most of humanity has become extinct, the earth is desolate and desert-like, all because of human pollution, which is what doomed them in this universe.

Humanity became partially extinct in January 2016

In September 2015, pollution became uncontrollable, dooming all life on the planet.

In 2015, a company seeing the imminent mass extinction, Dyson Industries, decided to start kidnapping people and cryogenizing them, so that in the future, when the Earth became habitable, they would wake up and re-colonize the planet... Apparently it didn't turn out as they expected...
