Description


Fixed! is a series of small mods that aim to adjust some aspects of mods or vanilla gameplay to better standards. Vanilla quality guaranteed.👍

This installment deals with repositioning the Entity Codex button from the Anomaly DLC to be part of the bottom menu bar and be always available, while removing the original gizmo found at the bottom right corner.





Q: I want the button to only appear after I investigate the Void Monolith. Can I change that?
A: Yes. Go into the Mod Settings and change the behavior of the button with a single click.

A: Yes! If you have a well thought out idea, please comment it down below and let us know what you would like to see next.

Q: Why did you make the mod?
A: I believe that the original position and behavior of the gizmo wasn't obvious enough for some players. Ideology's button is always available, so I thought that Anomaly should behave the same way.

Suggestion, maybe in another mod if it doesn't exist yet, make entities information being unveilled at some points : low level of data when you meet an entity, medium level of data when you study a corpse, high level of data (all vanilla informations and maybe one or two more tips) when you study an entity alive (with the possibility in mod options to tweak the research time to unlock the next level of datas)

@Latex Santa but it was already done few times in the past. Eg. some animals from Vanilla Animals Expanded (sheep and few others), also few other QoL mods. @Soul is right here, that's the license agreement. Though I think they were always asking the mod creator first.

As far as I am aware, all resources belong to Ludeon, including the mods made for Rimworld. Ergo, they can integrate a mod and not have to credit or pay any of the mod authors. But I could be wrong.

Couldn't that lead to issues of essentially stealing the work of modders? Then again they already do integrate mods sometimes so I guess that's a moot point.
