USRA Heavy Santa Fe 2-10-2

Description
Thank you to 611 Hype Man for the great screenshots!

Santa's late?

Hello folks, and welcome back to the USRA era! Today we have another heavy hauler! The 2-10-2 Heavy Santa Fe! The Chunkier bigger brother to the Light Santa Fe.

READ THIS PLEASE!!!!
As a heads up folks, you will find this locomotive in your buy menu under "multiple unit" under the steam category. The reason you see it under the multiple unit category is the Random numbers mod. In order for it to work the locomotive must have a cargo space. That cargo is 1 passenger. So no, you are not crazy if you see this on your freight trains. This is the workaround for getting the random numbers to work. Honestly well worth it! Normally I'd say you must have a dependent mod active for the random numbers to work, but Meatballhero has allowed me to include the files! No dependents necessary for this one! Also you may want to set a max timer for your trains you want to sit and wait for full at stations.

Slight history

During the first world war the federal government enacted the USRA as an experiment to nationalize the railroads during a wartime emergency. This lasted from December of 1917 to March of 1920. They introduced standardized locomotive and rail car classes known as the USRA Standard.
Changes occurred quickly as once President Wilson issued the order for nationalization. All the railroads were organized into 3 divisions, East, West, and South. A reduction in passenger service occurred to help with decongestion of freight. The current number of locomotives and rolling stock was augmented by new production of up-to-date and standardized types/designed to be the best that could be produced to replace outdated equipment.

These locomotives are great in drag service

She's no Polar Express....

Stats-

Availability- 1918
Speed - 50 MPH
Horsepower- 3,600
Tractive Effort - 74,000 LBF
Weight- 586,011 Lbs

Before you ask about the speed... Yes, normally this locomotive hovers in the speed of 30-35mph. In order to balance between other locos & for your networks not to get jammed up I made them for 50 mph. Always subject to change though.

Whats next

The end of the USRA era is in sight for me. The next up locos are the Southern PS-4, B&O P7, and B&O P5. Outside of this will be the end of this 2 years project of USRA based locos. No I won't be doing the switchers unless the new game gives a reason. Yes, there are a few other USRA types out there... maybe at somepoint, but not any time soon. I'd like to move onto other projects.

The USRA locomotives are also ones in which if you simply google USRA and the type of locomotive you get so many hits on model locomotives. So if you are wanting to reskin these into your own road you can ask me on the TPF American Modding discord for the PSD's and create a dependent mod if you wish for the community.

HEADS UP-

From this point, please understand that my mods are rather heavy in poly count. Sorry I enjoy the detail. I put a lot of effort into these, to make them as best I can to be enjoyed. Sorry if you don't have enough disk space or computer power to run these. The models have LOD's on them to help reduce poly count as you zoom out.

Also in regards to screen shots. About 95% of the time friends take the screenshots for me. So any questions regarding them is best directed toward them at the discord below.

The PRR placed an order of these engines and classified them as N2 2-10-2 Santa Fe locomotives, and I'm pretty sure that other railroads placed an or for more of these USRA Heavy and Light Santa Fe types to be built to handle heavy freight trains.

The realism of the snow in the fourth picture is amazing.
Just playing games makes my eyes tired, but taking photos seems even harder.
Recently I've been seeing cars that have had the paint peeled off, and I wonder if it's the same as the paint on steam locomotives. Thank you.
