Description


About

The Battle of Prokhorovka, fought on July, 1943, was one of the key episodes of the Kursk Battle, the largest tank engagement of World War II. Prokhorovka became the site of a fierce confrontation between German and Soviet forces.

The Soviet Army aimed to halt the German advance, which sought to breach the defenses and encircle Soviet forces. Both sides deployed a significant number of tanks, including Soviet T-34s and German Tigers and Panthers. Although the battle did not result in a decisive victory for either side, it shifted the strategic situation, marking an important step toward the eventual defeat of German forces on the Kursk salient.

Terrain was edited and adjusted for gameplay reasons
12 villages, 1 airstrip, 4 extensive gullies around the terrain, plantings and others were added for in some places to improve gameplay comfort.

Future plans
Defence positions, foxholes, trenches in key battles as Prelestnoe and Oktyabrskiy.
Replacement houses, props, fences models into new accurate historic models. (Cause is why I cancel IFA3 anymore and left SPE only)



Compatibility Data for Spearhead 1944 Non-Owners

You can use terrain without purchasing Arma 3 CDLC: Spearhead 1944. People who do not own the Spearhead 1944 DLC can download and install the DLC's optional data via the Arma 3 Steam Workshop.

I play with the mod RIS and I noticed some of my Tanks and APC's will just stop on the bridge blocking the convoy. Then they try to adjust to another route but end up stuck and never move again. Some of my amphibious APC will just go across the water but most of my other armor will just get stuck.

I let it for mission makers whom can edit tree line for tank crossing but yeah its sound strange but for me this somehow cover for infantry in this whole open fields. In future i think about resizing these fallen trees or delete several big branches to make more space
