When people rose to oppose the earth, they didn't have much, only a few scraps and luck on their side.
One among their ranks was the great designer who decided that what the earth was doing was wrong, so he left and joined the opposition. With his lead, they were able to compose a ship that managed to keep them alive.
It didn't require a huge crew, yet it was well capable of battle. These ships also served any role that needed to be filled.
Even after a few nasty fights with earth's destroyers, it managed to pull through, its sturdy shape molded by battle, her name symbolizing the opposition's struggle yet perseverance to withstand the flames of the earth and their wrong doings, Forge.
