Traffic (1911)

Description
-NOT TO BE CONFUSED WITH THE 1873 STEAM LIGHTER-

Traffic was built in 1911 as a luggage tender, and as an emergency third class tender if there were to be too many to fit on the Nomadic. With the Olympic due to enter service, the small Gallic of 1894 was already struggling to keep up with the large Adriatic on this service, thus two replacements were ordered. Traffic began service for Olympic in 1911, and was proved to be an unsatisfactory ship initially, though her efficiency was significantly improved soon after. Nomadic and Traffic helped ferry troops in WW1, and in 1934 she was sold and renamed to Ingenieur Riebell (Engineer Riebell). She continued service for various liners now, such as the Queen Mary, Berengaria, Majestic etc. The Riebell continued her duty, until being converted into a minelayer. She was scuttled in June 1940, raised and returned to service as an old, damaged and weak coastal patrolling vessel. In January 1941, she was torpedoed and sunk by the British, and she was raised by the Germans yet again, although the damage to her was far too significant and she was left in Cherbourg to be slowly scrapped, using her steel in combat.

If you want more detailed history on her, you can read her Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SS_Traffic_(1911)

This model depicts her in the early 20s since I am not the biggest fan of her original appearance.
I do not take requests on what to make, I make what I want.
Infinite electricity is needed.

Massive thank you to Boris Mileski for all his help with the details and the ship in general ! Could not have made this without him.

**p.s, this was delayed significantly because it took nightmarishly long to figure out how to make boats sink without nuking them, that and i'm pretty ill rn so oh well
