Description
This is a modified version of the Original Revivify Mod, all credits for original mod go to Dual

Mod Description:
Revive slugcat and slugpup corpses via proximity, in co-op or singleplayer (updated to work with Rain Meadow Multiplayer Mod)! No Grab/CPR required, stand, swim, crawl etc. close to friends corpse for X seconds to revive them (configurable). Only tested in Story campaign but should work in all modes.

Configurable Mod options:
  • Time it takes to revive in seconds
  • Deaths until exhaustion
  • Deaths until slugpups become comatose
  • Deaths until slugpups permanently expire
  • Time until bodies expire, in minutes
  • Distance to revive (60f = spear length)

How to enable/configure Rain World Mods:
1.) Go to "Remix" on main menu, enable mod on left >> Click Apply Mods button >> Restart Game.
2.) After reload, go back into Remix, click on "Revivify Meadow" to configure options.

Rain Meadow Multiplayer tips:
1.) Make sure your mod load order is identical to friends.
2.) If you change any mod options, make sure friends also change them to be safe.

MOD Compatibility:
I've only personally tested with the mods below with two players using Rain Meadow and Jolly Coop:
  • Sharpener
  • Rain Meadow
  • Back Spears
  • SBCameraScroll (Create Cache in mod options else you may have issues in Rain Meadow MP)
  • Rain World Remix and More Slugcats Expansion
  • No Damage RNG
  • Where Does This Gate Go?
NOTE: For new players, it's generally recommended to keep mod lists small

Important Note:
This is a modification of Dual's original code to "simplify" the revive process to be more compatible with Rain Meadow since you cannot grab fellow players as of now (you can grab their corpses but I'd let go of them after they revive to avoid issues). Due to this, I have NOT tested whether or not slugpups can be revived and this hasn't been thoroughly tested.

Known Issues:
  • When reviving a friend in co-op and opening the map, the friendly teammate still shows up dead in the hud but they are registered as alive (this appears in original revivify mod).
  • After being revived when playing Rain Meadow multiplayer, the text at the bottom informing the player to spectate etc. will take time to fade away. It still works fine.

surprisingly this works in arena mode lol. now i can constantly revive my friend

Until then, I'd recommend anyone installing the mod to have https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2974732785 installed as well when playing Arena.

Servers should not allow players to use this mod unless it's a server requirement. It feel like cheating when everyone can revive whenever they want to, while you die and stay dead for the rest of the cycle

Turns out Slugpups can revive other Slugpups, and even Slugcats, which is fun~
