Now I was going to call it complete dog water but after evaluating that we have an alien species on our hands here, it doesn't seem that out of place. Kleiner's scouts are still looking for it and they seem to be getting closer."

Welcome to the biggest, most ambitious thing I have done this year. It all started way back in late February of 2023 when a certain person I shall name Taylor kept nagging me to create an evil ass lava map. It continued, and continued, and continued and continued until a month ago where I finally started pre-production on this map. A slight problem however was that I was at the end of my first semester of university which meant I was also pretty stocked with school work. This map ended up being embroiled in development hell before I eventually bit the bullet and decided to finish whatever that was completed. It is, and I will fully admit, kinda unfinished. But I'd rather release it in a near finished state than completely burn myself out again from perfectionism.

A lava Combine map is pretty silly in concept, but I've seen sillier things. The design of this map allows for both long ranged and close ranged combat which makes it quite the versatile map for all things shooty bang bang. This is also be the first or one of the first maps to release in 2025 and on time for New Years too at least where I live. Hopefully this will make up for the entire month of silence. Happy New Year everyone, and hopefully Taylor won't kill me because the map is almost finished.
