Autumn, 1915, in the mountains of present-day western Slovenia Italian forces under Luigi Cadorna mount their third attack across the border into Austria-Hungary. The dead from the previous two attacks this year pile as high as the alpine peaks the Italians fight to capture. The Austro-Hungarian forces fight to maintain their lines and prevent a breakthrough, which could threaten the status of the war on the Eastern front.

The third battle of the Isonzo would not be the breakthrough the Italians desired. Over just a couple of weeks, 10-20,000 were killed in the attempt... It would be followed in the next two years by nine more gruesome battles in the same region.

The Mannlicher rifle should work now.The reason it had some many issues was because we added animations to it but now it should fine

Thanks, glad you all enjoyed it! I wanted the Austro-Hungarian side to feel like the utter cluster-F that it was, with people speaking a whole assortment of different languages, and a range of different weapons being used.

Extremely charming mission! There are small historical details that will make any buff start to smile, for example some Austrians will be found wielding M.91 Russisches Repetier-gewehrs! There is no repetition within the objectives, each phase adds something new that increases urgency. :thestar:
