Phoenix, a space detective from the distant future, rides the Rainbow Phoenix into battle! He is an echo fighter of Captain Falcon, with identical movement, and some shared moves, but has some unique attacks to give him the edge over his opponents!

NEUTRAL SPECIAL: PHOENIX PUNCH
Charge up a Phoenix Punch, dealing 7 self-damage before it's powered up. Pressing Special during the charge will cancel it and perform a fairly weak punch. However, after it's been charged up, it becomes a very powerful and fast punch, rivaling the Falcon Punch.

SIDE SPECIAL: RAINBOW BOOST
Phoenix pauses for a split second as he rears back with his left fist held behind and above him in a stance, before dashing a short distance forwards along the ground in a sliding-glide. If he hits an enemy while grounded, he proceeds to unleash a fiery uppercut, which pops opponents up into the air for a combo. While in the air, launch the opponent forwards with a wheel kick. Holding up or down on startup will slightly alter the direction.

UP SPECIAL: RAINBOW DIVE
Phoenix leaps in the air, fist extended. While still ascending, he will automatically grab a single foe if they come in contact with his body. Once grabbed, he will spike the opponent with a fiery explosion, recoiling upwards in a flip while doing so.

DOWN SPECIAL: PHOENIX KICK
Phoenix bursts forward in a rush of fire a good distance forward. Upon hitting an opponent, automatically pops them up for a follow up.

ULTRA: PHOENIX ASCENT
Phoenix jumps up, enveloped in flaming rainbow phoenix, hitting mutliple times the opponents caught in his uppercut. Doesn't deal a lot of damage, but can KO off the top blastzone quite easily, and gains Super Armour on startup and on the active frames.

OTHER NOTES
Forward Tilt, Up Tilt, Down Tilt, Forward Strong, Up Strong, Neutral Air, Down Air, Back Throw, Up Throw, Down Throw are all different from Captain Falcon's.
He has average defense, compared to Captain Falcon having above average defense.
Input Special before the weak Phoenix Punch comes out to cancel it and launch yourself towards the input direction. The distance and velocity gained from this tech depends on how much damage you did to yourself before doing the weak Phoenix Punch.
