Description
Its January 3rd, 1985. The South China Sea has erupted into chaos as NATO prepares a bold operation to strike Vietnam’s coastal defenses and Soviet-aligned forces. The USS Kitty Hawk and USS Enterprise carrier groups, with their powerful air wings and escort fleets, are poised to execute a devastating assault. Soviet-backed Vietnamese forces, with their Soviet upgraded F-5s re-designated as MiG-28s, advanced S-300 air defense systems, and a determined coastal fleet, must repel this aggressive offensive. Soviet forces have committed their Tu-16 bomber group, including an ECM-capable variant, to conduct long-range strikes. Success hinges on sinking a significant portion of NATO’s naval vessels and protecting key infrastructure, including Vietnam’s airbase, headquarters, and S-300 radar installations. With NATO forces operating dangerously close to the Vietnamese coast, the outcome of this battle will determine the region’s fate.

Just played this. It is far too slanted to the US with them having overwhelming air and sea superiority. The Foxtrot was grossly out of position with no chance of interdiction with the CVBG. Should not have been a fail to lose the S300 Radar.
