Touge is a little bit boring, I can tell what it's going for but it doesn't feel captivating enough for how long it is, and the song is honestly a little grading too
Tatsumi has really fun level design, but some of the roads feel a little too thin and I got lost a couple times due to a lack of appropriately placed arrow barriers
Overall I am happy to have a vanilla-ish map pack to enjoy even if small, hope you find the ambition to update it again in the future
Unfortunately, I encountered an issue where the geometry would become invisible when using the “Arcade” or “Saturn” LOD setting. Also, the preview in the track selection is sometimes invisible. There were a few very nasty sharp turns on a couple of tracks where it's not immediately obvious which way to steer :/ Perhaps a few directional signs could be added. Maybe it would also be possible to add a record time with a gold medal like some other custom tracks like “Pirate Cove” did. Apart from that, i really had a lot of fun with these race tracks!
Daikoku:
Some more wayfinding/arrows/barriers would be helpful. The first turn needs to make it obvious to skip the lane since it took me two tries before realizing the first CP was a further lane over! Also, an arrow or barrier by the jump would make it more assuring that's the way to go.
Touge:
Awesome track! But there are three very obvious cuts. The first bypasses a big section of track after the third (?) checkpoint by jumping across the grass. Same deal with the two switchback sections before the end. Although, there's clearly a missing rail so that one at least looks intentional?
Also, I found myself under the track surface a few times: Coming out of the tunnel before CP2, and after cutting the last switchback before the start/finish parking lot) due to bumpy grass/ground next to the road surface. It made my car go under the road instead of up on top of it if coming in from the side.
Looking forward to the other tracks, thanks!
