Redistributed Ore - Scarce Editon

Description
If you start a new save please use the updated version that scales ore on moons correctly:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3412035274

This is the scarce edition of my Ore Redistribution mod. It is only for hardcore players who want to explore the planets to find rare ore patches.

Changes:
  • Density of ore patches is halved compared to Ore Redistribution. It will take a long time to find ore unless you use extended range detectors or seismic surveying.
  • Inspired by the original Scarce Resources mod, some planets will have more of a specific ore than others.
  • However, this mod is less strict. There is a small chance of any ore type spawning everywhere, but you must win the lottery to actually find those spots.
  • Spawn probability of rare ore highly reduced for asteroids.

It is recommended to start on the Earthlike planet. It has silicon, iron, nickel and ice. Only 8% of ore patches are cobalt. You'll need these to leave the planet.

Once in orbit you should look for gold and silver on the moon, so you can build a jump drive. On the moon 7% of ore patches are gold and 6% are silver, so you'll need to do some exploring.

With your jump drive ready you have several options depending which ore you want next:
  • Head for the Alien planet for uranium and grab some magnesium from its moon Titan.
  • Head for Mars for silver and lots of iron. It's moon Europa is a good ice and magnesium source.
  • Head for Triton to get platinum.
  • Head for Pertam for gold.
