Tailored Garrisons

Description
A comprehensive overall of settlement garrisons for EVERY faction

I was tired of fighting the same cookie-cutter garrisons for every siege battle (which is 2/3rds of all battles in a campaign). I sought to do something about it. After LOTS of hours modding, it is finally here!

This mod adds variety to your siege experience! No longer will you see the same small, repetitive and bland garrisons of vanilla!

What to expect:

Stronger Defence buildings:
Expect more Elite units (included DLC) in Defence buildings. Balance is maintained through similar costs at each building level across all races. (Thanks to Spartan VI for the icons)

Faction Tailoring
Every playable faction (and some appropriate minor factions) will have unique/thematic defence building garrisons. E.g. Clan Pestilens will feature more Clan Pestilens units than other Skaven garrisons.

Military & Infrastructure garrisons
The type of unit is dependant on the type of building and level e.g. Advanced military buildings provide 1/2 elite units whereas infastructure buildings provide 2/3 lower tier units.

Heroes!
All settlement chains have a suitable hero to act as a commander. Other buildings may feature supporting heroes with access to 1 or 2 abilities/spells. And heroes found in capitals, forts and relevant landmarks have access mounts and advanced abilities/spells!

Landmarks garrisons
Landmark now provide thematic units & Heroes where suitable!

Stronger forts
All Fort garrisons feature a stronger commander and more elites appropriate to defending this strategic location.

Garrison "training"
All garrisons gain passive experience overtime to represent them spending their days training for battle (Thanks to Zorbad, TheDuke, Groovewizard and Axl for the script)

TLDR: This mod increases diversity, size and strength of garrisons for all Races!

Compatibility
Should be compatible with all mods that do not modify garrisons of buildings, landmarks or forts

It looks like it has a small incompatibility. The new garrison buildings don't have the suppression effect

Do you know if this is compatible with Mortals, Mercs and Management?

@lacrossepl9 unfortunately not without substantial effort I am afraid.
This mod works by making a unique defence building for each playable faction in the game.
So based on that mod, it's "effect" would need to be added to each of the new defence buildings - as a submod.
But feel free to make a submod for yourself if you have capacity :)

@phunal apologies there is not a version without the additional units.
But if you are curious, if the 20 unit garrison cap is reached, the higher tier units will replace the lower tier ones.

Hi, awesome mod. Just a quick questions if there could be a version without the additional units from buildings. I really love the concept of every faction having its own version of garrison but building millitary and infrastructure buildings gets some maybe unwanted units.
