Description
Attention!
The mod is currently in testing. We (me and me again) decided to release it in a test format, following the best traditions of modern game development: giving players a chance to try it out, evaluate it, and provide their feedback. We look forward to your reviews and bug reports!

Description
This mod overhauls the standard brain transplantation system in the Neurotrauma mod, introducing a unique personality preservation mechanic. Now, when your brain is transplanted into a new body, all your character's data is preserved, including profession, skills, talents, and accumulated experience.

Instead of losing all your character's achievements after death, you will be able to continue the game, keeping their stats. This is especially useful in Ironman and Permadeath modes, where the loss of a body doesn't mean the inevitable death of your character. If your body cannot be saved, but the brain can still be transplanted — this is a chance for a fresh start with the same skills and knowledge.

INSTALLATION:
  1. Install Lua for Barotrauma.
  2. Make sure the "Enable CSharp Scripting" option is enabled in the settings, otherwise, the mod will not work.
  3. Enable the mod in the mod list — the load order does not affect its functionality.
  4. You're all set!

a crewmate cant 'take over a bot' after their brain is taken out and their body dies

the new organ extraction update in neurotrauma makes it so you are able to duplicate brains, getting one vanilla brain and one brain containing player stats. not a big issue, player consciousness transferring is still working and there are no other issues. good mod.

а можно как то сделать так что бы игрок у которого был извлечён мозг и который находится в режиме спектатора, не появлялся в виде нового персонажа после загрузки локации?

Current version of the mod is not designed for SP. Only MP

I have been trying the mod out k in singleplayer for a few hours and like the last person, i too can't seem to make it work. Brain transplant seems to have normal neurotrauma mechanics no mater load order and what i do.

I have NT eyes, cybernetics and surgery plus. The NT descriptions mod too if that is relevant.

Cannot seem to get it to work in the single-player campaign. Tried it a few times with bots; stats and profession do not transfer with the brain regrettably.

I second the previous commenter's suggestion, as having permanent storage for the brain(s) without depending on a separate NT addon that you might not want to add to a campaign would be nice.

I enjoy the mod- Nice that you can transplant your personality to another fleshy body!
For feedback; It would be neat to have a brain jar (like the, now discontinued, Surgeon class 'plus ultra'). In a way it would go nicely with this mod providing just a little more flexibility
