Alger Pass

Description
Towering mountains...pine trees as far as the eye can see...the Empire Builder in Big Sky Blue...it can only be the Cascades!

High up in the mountains of western Washington, trains face the full brunt of winter, their journeys made a little easier by the mighty efforts of the rotary plows that patrol the pass. Lonely depots and shanties, tucked away in the trees, give refuge to railroader and railfan alike, and those that brave the cold are rewarded with stunning vistas and plenty of trains.

This is a layout built to be explored on foot, complete with fully detailed buildings accessed using keys hidden here and there. Can you find your way from the snowplow depot to the cabin by the creek?

You won't need anything special for this layout, apart from these GN and NP liveries from back in the day.

Stay warm, and have fun!
