Mod Uploader v1.0.2

Description

Overview
Recommended for mod development
This app allows you to upload mods to workshop easily and quickly without launching the game.
Declaration
Mod Uploader is obviously NOT an app for regular players. Don't subscribe if you don't know what it does!
Mod Uploader only downloads as a workshop file and is not "installed" on your computer. Creating a shortcut is purely for convenience.
Difference between in-game uploader
  • Select content files directly vs. copy files to content folder
  • Select preview image directly, no have to copy preview image everytime vs. copy preview image everytime
  • Add a compatible tag when uploading, like this mod's tag (as Improved Mod Upload Panel will do)
  • Both GUI-like and CLI support (type ModUploader -help to learn more)
Getting Started
This app has been tested only on Windows x64. We welcome your feedback and assistance in testing it on other operating systems!
1.Download .NET 9 Runtime for Windows[dotnet.microsoft.com]
Or make sure .NET 9 SDK has been installed
2. Launch the game and enable the "Mod Uploader" mod. A shortcut to the app will be created on your desktop.
3. Follow the on-screen steps in the app and enjoy!
Supported Languages
  • English
  • Simplified Chinese
  • Korean
  • German
The app will automatically attempt to set the language as the system language.
Meta
Requirements
You must be logged into Steam to use this app.
Why does the game appear to be "running" when I use the app?
This app uses the SteamAPI as its core functionality. To access the SteamAPI for uploading mods, it needs to simulate running the game. This is a requirement of Steam, does not actually launch the game.
Error Reporting
If you encounter any errors that prevent the app from functioning, navigate to the app's folder, open the logs directory, and share the log file for the current date.

How does this work with Skyve, Harmony and other required mods most of us use?

@LeonardMT SteamCMD has its own feature, more than this app which just upload mod to workshop. IMO it's not.

So this is basically an alternative to steamCMD?
