Description
Hello all!

I bring you the Delta Taxi Cab Company building.

A small build that was the result of a question posed to some of my friends. So, this suggestion comes from Horror II.

There's not much to say about the building other than it is an early 20th Century apartment converted to be used as taxi dispatch centre, with an adjoining warehouse being used as a repair/maintenance workshop.
The building is mostly of my own design, since I couldn't find many reference photos of American Taxi Depots. Some of the signs are inspired by photographs however.

When entering the garage from the front of the property, there are two switches located on the right hand-side wall. These two switches control both the interior and exterior lighting.

Enjoy!

Lore:

510 Washington Plaza is a small building located next to the much more well-known 512 Washington Plaza. Whilst it does not get as much attention as its neighbour, it holds a very important role in the city.
No. 510 is the home of the Delta Taxi Cab company, established in 1931, which is the largest taxi company in the Bricksville metropolitan area. This one small property is the beating heart of Delta's Bricksville operations.

The 3 story building was originally an apartment building that was constructed in 1897. The building remained as a residential property until its acquisition by Delta. It now hosts the company's offices and taxi dispatch center.

The adjoining 'warehouse' garage building was built some twenty years after the apartments. Constructed in 1918, this building was used as a wagon & automobile repair garage. This small, family run, business unfortunately did not last very long. In 1929, the business found itself in severe financial trouble due to the great depression. The business became unprofitable, and was thus sold to the Delta Taxi Cab Company.

Now that both neighbouring buildings were united under the same roof, operations could be streamlined. And since then, the Delta Taxi Cab Company has gone from strength to strength.
It has become an icon of Bricksville, beloved by locals and visitors alike.
Many hope it continues serving the city long into the future.

A shout-out to DemonicSil0, who made the taxi cabs present in the screenshots. I use his edits very often in my artwork & screenshots, so I appreciate them very much.

The whole year would actually elapse in May of this year, as I started the cover in May of 24. We're not even half-way through January yet. So no, it has not been a year.

I will reiterate the point once again that I am not under any obligation to release this cover on a deadline. I can only work on the cover when I have free time (Obviously). which cannot be all the time since I have many responsibilities.

Please show consideration and patience. The cover will release, when it is ready. :104:
