Quickly expanding it's territories and political influence after the 2nd Preeg incursion, the Babylon Trade Corporation (BTC) found need for a domestically produced multi-role fighter to defend it's newly obtained planets and asteroids.

The Chimera Class Multi-Role Fighter was created to satisfy the need for a cheap, effective, fighter. Featuring 2 seats, a turret, and limited hybrid propulsion, the Chimera is able to conduct a wide variety of missions both planet side and in space. While the Chimera is a favorite among many BTC pilots, there are known compromises with it's power storage and electrical systems.
