Update:
Did a full rewrite of the mod using all I have learned over the past couple months. Recipes, Icons, Textures, and Code have all been brought up to a higher standard. Many new Qol of life features such as lighting your Cigarettes from a burning Torch, lighting your Torch from a running Campfire/BBQ, and auto-equipping Torches to your off-hand when lit.
Check the patch notes for a more detailed breakdown.

About:
I started modding at the start of B42 and this was the first project I wanted to create, it was inspired by Bigorneau's Simple Torch mod and with permission to use their beautiful Torch Models and Textures this mod was born.
I aim to blend my mods to the best of my ability with Vanilla, recipes have appropriate xp gain, correct craft categories, animations with in-hand objects/sounds, balanced material costs/skill requirements, and designed to be a natural extension to Project Zomboid. I plan to evolve this mod alongside B42 to fill the gaps that I feel are missing whilst staying true to the game's themes/lore

Compatible:

B42 Hemp & Tobacco
Expands Hemp & Tobacco products and recipes.

B42 Pack Mule
Overhauls Vanilla Bags, Clothes, and Vests with new features and wear options.

B42 Chef
Expands Vanilla Cooking recipes & Features

Special Thanks:

Bigorneau
For allowing me to use their amazing Torch assets, show them some love and support as this mod could not exist without them!

Chrystal Chris
For being the first responder in helping me learn how to mod, they helped me fine tune attachment points and body locations and was essential in the early stages of my modding journey!

Really no wood plank and tree branch as firestarter??
Please consider that idea, it's simple as that.

Something definitely missing is being able to use flint to start a fire.

would be awesome if you added some alternative to nails like wooden dowels. they would be an cheap alternative to nails but with very slow build time.

Would there be any way to add a "mine boulder" function for the big rocks that seemingly have no purpose? Or am I missing how to do it. I've right-clicked all over the various boulders and never get an option to mine them for stone.

Oh also, maybe get animal sinew from guts to make thread?

We need a grass nest bed, for primitive survival bedding. Even if it was just a basic 2 by 1 pile of grass bed it would be better than nothing in a pinch.

Can confirm that I was able to run my game with around 100 mods without any problem!

The update definitely fixed things. I can now start my game! I did also want to add that I am using the craft concrete mod as pointed out by @Humanista, so that may have been the issue for me previously.
